Important notes about images |
|
Available image sizes and pricing structure are tailored to use, i.e. internet and multimedia versus print.
Size M, for example, might give prints at 10x15cm at 350dpi. However, we categorize sizes by length of the longest side, so observe length of the shorter side of your specific image and, hence, aspect ratio, as this may vary for individual images.
Should you require an image that is not offered at L or bigger size for big prints, contact us; most likely, it will be available as a .zip download or via email.
Note that preview images are sharpened for web display only, download versions are un-sharpened. See FAQ. |

What format are the photos in?
All File Pile downloadable photos are in JPG format, Adobe RGB color profile, un-sharpened, spotless. Just as you can expect from your stock image supplier of choice!
Are there any restrictions on my use of the File Pile files that I download?
Yes. While File Pile offers great freedom and a wide ranges of uses, we do not allow redistribution of our files. Please contact us if you have special questions regarding use.
Can I get the photos in different sizes and formats?
Yes, most of them. Contact us with your request!
What kind of downloads is a subscription limited to?
Individual image files. Image packages and other items follow a different pricing structure.
I bought a subscription, but it says I'm not activated, what do I do?
On rare occasions our merchant processors may not send the information of your transaction to our system, so your account may not be automatically activated. Therefore, if you have purchased a subscription and you are not able to access photos File Pile using your details, contact us!
Do you offer refunds?
Once your purchase is made we can not offer a refund. The reason for this policy is that we offer full access to our entire digital collection of files and, as such, there is no way for our products to be returned. We will, however, make exceptions on a case by case basis. Contact us!
Where are the videos and the other stuff?
It's coming. We are hard at work.
Can I submit stuff to sell?
Right now the only products that we sell are the ones supplied by File Pile and it's partners. However, do contact us with a sample or description of what you want to sell. Technically, it is perfectly possible to add you as a partner, but your product has to fit into the product line.
